HQ3 Performance - Vox: Halfway to Herself

Vox: Halfway to Herself

In a pop-up shop in Seattle's South Lake Union, a woman’s long-awaited fresh start is interrupted by a phone call she thought she’d never receive.

Haunting yet hopeful, this intimate re-imagining of Poulenc and Cocteau’s The Human Voice unfolds for whoever happens to be there — no tickets, no seating, no stage. Just the raw immediacy of survival, set to music.

Featuring soprano Heather Dudenbostel, pianist Mark Davies, and directed by Julia Benzinger with a contemporary English adaptation by Isaiah Bell.

Come as you are. Stay as long, or as briefly, as you wish.
